And that about sums up this manic bit of fluff that begins with the second grade setting out to visit a farm and ends with the children cheered and rewarded for capturing a pair of bank robbers. If The House That Floated Away (1975) left you unmoved, then this, which is more like a TV mad chase spoof, will never seem to get into gear - and the absence of a particular protagonist, though it could work on TV, might make it harder for other second graders to hook on.
