'This book is highly recommended for those interested in the evolution of public policy, news representations and news discourse in the UK. The reader learns a great deal of how public policy is informed from the triad of media organizations, policymakers and the public. Public Policy and Media Organizations is extremely well-written, informative and fulfils its promise. Each section concludes with a summary ... while the book concludes with a rich bibliography and a comprehensive index.' European Journal of Communication
