Invigorating, engaging and a must read. The characters in The Gripped Series diligently tackle the essence of forces that can limit greatness within. - LaTonya Pinkard of Netflix's Emmy-winning series Last Chance U With Gripped 5, Stacy Padula hopes to influence all teenagers and young adults to avoid using drugs to prevent dangerous situations. The book serves not only as a form of education about where one can be exposed and offered drugs, but the drawbacks that result from accepting the offer and taking the pill. In all, I rate Gripped 5 a 5/5 and would highly recommend reading it. I loved this book because although two main storylines were happening simultaneously, it was relatively easy to follow and see each scenario progress. - Kyle Banker, University of Miami
