Crispin Black served as platoon commander of the Welsh Guards in the Falklands and survived the bombing of the HMS Sir Galahad, He moved to Northern Ireland and Germany before joining the Cabinet Office as COBRA intelligence liaison. He was a Fellow of Chatham House and has written for The Times, Guardian and Telegraph and commented on intelligence on the BBC, Channel 4, Sky and ITV.
