ANNE YOUNGSON's debut novel MEET ME AT THE MUSEUM was shortlisted for the Costa Best First Novel Award and won the inaugural Paul Torday Memorial prize for debut fiction by writers over sixty. Her second novel, THREE WOMEN AND A BOAT was a BBC Radio 2 Book Club pick. A COMPLICATED MATTER is her first historical novel, and was inspired by an episode of 'From the Archives' on BBC Radio Four. She has had a successful career in senior managment with Land Rover where she was Managing Director. She lives in Oxfordshire and is married with two children and four grandchildren.
