George Ansong is a real estate guru, realtor, entrepreneur, investor, teacher, lecturer, coach, and mentor. George Ansong is the ultimate entrepreneur. Starting as a cab driver in the early 1970s in New York City, he discovered his passion for real estate investing by attending a No Money Down seminar and met his mentor, Tyler Hicks, of International Wealth Success fame. Mr. Ansong bought his first property in Brooklyn, a multiunit property that he later sold. He then bought a few properties in the Jersey City area before moving to Atlanta with his family in 1990s. Mr. Ansong bought and sold a few businesses, and with this knowledge in real estate, began investing. He also started teaching real estate investment courses at area colleges, including Kennesaw State University, Chattahoochee Technical Institute, and Perimeter College. As an adjunct instructor, Mr. Ansong wrote all his instructional manuals, which are now e-books on various topics on real estate investment. He later formed a company, Quadrant Investments LLC, with his partner, Jeff Cohen. They bought and sold more than $50 million worth of real estate with his front money partners before the market crashed in 2008. Mr. Ansong obtained his real estate license in 2000. He worked as agent for Property Systems of Georgia, one of the leading foreclosure real estate brokerage companies in the Southeast, where his focus was working with real estate investors. During this time, Mr. Ansong was still teaching, conducting seminars, and organizing real estate field trips for his students. He later worked for Prudential Georgia Realty, now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. Currently, Mr. Ansong is a realtor with Maximum One Realty in Atlanta. His specialty lies in working with real estate investors. His company, GAV Capital Partners LLC, works with investors providing consulting and strategic direction to numerous investors who are involved in rehabbing properties in the metro Atlanta area. Currently, he also teaches an online course, Buy-Fix-Flip, for REI-USA-www.rei-usa.com. Mr. Ansong is a graduate of Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York (CUNY) with a degree in business administration.
