For books we don't currently have in stock, the time it takes to get them from our suppliers can vary widely - from a few days to a few months - so we check each book with each supplier to determine the expected time it will take to be supplied to us.

Teachers are passionate, hard working, and always have our career and our students front and center as a priority. We devote all our love and mental attention to those that matter to us. But we're also multi dimensional and have such vibrant, full lives outside the classroom. It's time to focus on the lifestyle aspect of a teacher's world. Because there's more to the story. Teachers are also brilliant, creative, and spiritual! There are so many facets that come together to make us the kind of people that can rock our jobs, love our students so fiercely, build a household and family, and still have passion left for crafty endeavors, spirituality, design, and relationships.

It's rare for a teacher to ever truly be ""off the clock"". But on a snow day, teachers get a minute to sit back and actually focus on themselves. We can nurture all the other aspects of our life and fill our souls with what re-energizes us. For some of us, that's a craft or hobby. For some, it's designing a beautiful home environment. For some, it's just a long soak with the bathroom door closed, a glass of chardonnay, and a stack of our favorite magazines.

Of course, even on a snow day, we can't help the fact that our students are still on our hearts and our classrooms and lessons are on our minds. So sure, we'll give you plenty of unique classroom ideas and solutions, but we also want to offer what the professional development-centered publications don't.

Let's talk outfits, home, classroom design, on-the-go lunch ideas that work while making copies, and side hobbies. Let's take time for self care, look at the big picture, and expand into other valued priorities.

This magazine is for allowing yourself the time, mental space, and inspiration you need each quarter to get back to the basics. We blend teacher life with all the other beautiful dimensions of our lives.

It has been quite a journey to start building this for you, and I have never enjoyed any project so much. Every day that I sit down to work on this magazine, I feel so energized by the concept. I hope that each page brings you the same level of joy that I feel when I create it.

Besides all the information, the aesthetics of this magazine is everything. The colors, text, print, pictures, everything is so appealing. This is a great magazine for your coffee table at home or your classroom. Flipping through this issue makes me feel like I'm outside living my best life, traveling to a new place, experiencing nature in a new way, and then taking that experience and bringing it into the classroom. Yup, it's all that. It's one of those things you read over and over. Just ordered a few copies as gifts for my favorite teachers. The quality of this magazine is more like a book. Cover to cover inspiration! The first issue of @snowdaymagazine arrived in my mailbox this week and I wanted to rave about it! It is marketed as A creative lifestyle magazine for teachers and that's what it is. Here is what I loved: the photography had a photojournalist feel; candid, authentic, some posed, but pleasant... The articles were informative, relevant, and fun. Honestly, I had no idea my lifestyle was cliche because the topics were of great interest to me. I was like how do they know me?! ... This magazine was filled with content and not ads. It explains the cost, but to me was well worth it... My favorite part of reading this issue was the representation of people of various race and size. This is a gauge not often talked about openly these days, but people of color like myself want to see others like ourselves in all forms of media. Thanks again for this wonderful magazine. Highly recommend this magazine! Perfect balance of #teacherlife and daily life of a teacher... teaching ideas, home decor, mental health, and more! ... Loved the last issue and can't wait for this one to get here!
