The second of two official companion books for the Zack Snyder-directed Netflix films Rebel Moon taking an exclusive in-depth look at the heroes and villains, monsters and animals.

When a peaceful colony on the edge of the known universe finds itself threatened by the Mother World armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, a young woman with a mysterious past sets out to find warriors from neighbouring planets to help the colonists take a stand. From the director of Zack Snyder’s Justice League and Army of the Dead, comes the 2-part epic Rebel Moon, Zack Snyder’s eagerly awaited space fantasy, starring Sofia Boutella.

Rebel Moon: Wurm: Ex Materia: Heroes & Monsters goes behind the scenes of these much-anticipated films to explore the characters, creatures and themes. Bursting with exclusive on-set photography, concept art, costume designs, storyboards by Zack Snyder, and more, accompanied by cast and crew interviews, the book takes an in-depth look at the making of the films.
