Reviews for Perspectives on Community-Based Corrections

"This textbook provides a comprehensive and insightful overview of community-based corrections. It covers a wide range of topics, including the benefits and challenges of using community-based alternatives to incarceration and effective strategies for managing offenders in the community. Highly Recommended and I will use it once it is available for my course!"" - Seyle Lee, Arkansas State University The text under review is thorough, yet concise, in its exploration of community-based corrections. It is designed with extraordinary flexibility and offers instructors and students a range of resources that are current and user-friendly. Quite candidly, the authors have managed to address all of the items on my ""wish list"" for a community-based corrections text and I anticipate adopting it. * Heather Bersot, University of North Carolina at Charlotte * The proposed text offers a more balance approach to the study of community corrections. * Jennifer Ortiz, Indiana University Southeast *"
