Reviews for Leadership Development for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice

This book enables us to learn how to implement leadership in interprofessional education and practice at the nano-level (the patient-provider interaction), the micro-level (interprofessional care teams in the community), the meso-level (supporting organisations and institutions) and the macro-level (global health policy). Moreover, it takes a transformative approach to respond to the actual challenge: building health systems, based on relevance, equity, quality, cost-effectiveness, person- and people-centeredness, sustainability and innovation. - Prof. Jan De Maeseneer, MD, PhD, Head of Department of Family Medicine and Primary Health Care - Ghent University and Secretary General The Network: Towards Unity for Health (www.the-networktufh.org).
