Search Tips
Our search has the following Google-type functionality:
+ (addition symbol)
If you use '+' at the start of a word, that word will be present in the search results.
eg. Harry +Potter
Search results will contain 'Potter'.
- (minus symbol)
If you use '-' at the start of a word, that word will be absent in the search results.
eg. Harry -Potter
Search results will not contain 'Potter'.
AND
If you use 'AND' between 2 words, then both those words will be present in the search results.
eg. Harry AND Potter
Search results will contain both 'Harry' and 'Potter'.
OR
If you use 'OR' between 2 words, then either or both of those words will be present in the search results.
eg. 'Harry OR Potter'
Search results will contain just 'Harry', or just 'Potter', or both 'Harry' and 'Potter'.
NOT
If you use 'NOT' before a word, that word will be absent in the search results. (This is the same as using the minus symbol).
eg. 'Harry NOT Potter'
Search results will not contain 'Potter'.
" " (double quotation marks)
If you use double quotation marks around words, those words will be present in that order.
eg. "Harry Potter"
Search results will contain 'Harry Potter', but not 'Potter Harry'.
* (asterisk)
If you use '*' in a word, it performs a wildcard search, as it signifies any number of characters. (Searches cannot start with a wildcard).
eg. 'Pot*er'
Search results will contain words starting with 'Pot' and ending in 'er', such as 'Potter'.

Buy a book at Abbey's before Mother's Day Sunday 13 May and you will go in the draw for an exclusive overnight stay at the luxurious SOFITEL Wentworth Sydney and enjoy a pamper package at the Lattouf Hair and Day Spa.
Conditions
The winner's name will be drawn on Monday 14 May and they will be contacted by email. We will announce the winner on this page and on our Facebook page (Facebook.com/AbbeysBookshop) once they have been notified.
The winner receives one night's accommodation at the SOFITEL Wentworth Sydney (sofitelsydney.com.au) and gift cards from Lattouf Hair and Day Spa for two 30 minute massages (lattouf.com.au).
The total prize is valued at $450 and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
Costs of transportation to the accommodation and the Spa are not included in the prize.
Bookings are subject to availability.
Prizes must be redeemed prior to 30 October 2012.
