Author Jayanthinathan was born in Tiruchendur, one of the six sacred abodes (Arupadai Veedu) of Lord Murugan. He completed his early education in Tiruchendur and pursued his school and college studies in Chennai. During his time in Chennai, he had the privilege of residing in Triplicane (Thiruvallikeni), near Thulasinga Perumal Street, close to the historic residence of the renowned poet Subramania Bharati. Living in such a spiritually rich environment left a lasting impression on him.The divine presence of Sri Parthasarathy Temple, especially the majestic deity with a striking white moustache, has often brought him inner peace and joy, helping him overcome mental distress on numerous occasions. He also cherishes memorable moments spent at Marina Beach, where he would lie on the sands, gazing at the vast blue sky and observing the ever-changing forms of clouds. These experiences have remained a continuous source of inspiration and tranquility. From a young age, he developed a deep interest in spiritual literature while reading at the University Library in Marina. This passion has significantly contributed to his inner strength and mental peace. As an expression of his spiritual pursuit, he has translated and presented several sacred texts from original Sanskrit into Tamil, including Yaksha Prashna, Vidura Neeti, and Yoga Vasishtam. This literary work has been undertaken purely for personal fulfillment and devotion.
