Bill McKibben, Co-founder and Senior Advisor at 350.org; Author of The End of Nature

""Eleven years working directly with coffee farmers in the highlands of Nicaragua taught me that on-the-ground action creates more lasting change than good intentions alone. Michele Bianchi gets at something similar in Writing From the Inside Out: stories about purpose only matter when they're backed by committed action. She shows how to turn narratives into operational change that empowers people and transforms communities. This is essential reading for anyone building organizations where purpose becomes action.""

Paul Rice, Founder and Former CEO, Fair Trade USA; Author of Every Purchase Matters

""A must-read for everyone from students to executives. Warm, wise, and quietly powerful, this book invites us to rediscover how we communicate through language that connects, inspires, and mobilizes. It's a call to speak with clarity, care, and courage. Having lived through some of the complex stories Michele Bianchi shares, I've seen this approach in action, bringing people together and turning intention into meaningful change.""

Wendy Savage, Senior Director, Social Impact and Transparency at Patagonia

""At a time when authentic, human storytelling matters more than ever, Writing From the Inside Out shows you exactly how to do it. It's the perfect mix of pragmatism and inspiration for crafting stories that have an impact.""

""This book did my job for me. It's an amazing thought partner for anyone working to hone a brand or message. The tools and advice are clear, tangible, and made to be used. Michele Bianchi is a brilliant storyteller who didn't just write a book about branding, she took me on a journey-just like every brand should.""

Mark Chavez, Communications Director, Climate Justice Alliance

""A rallying cry for purpose-driven writers who want to reconnect with their why. Full of insight and practical tools for crafting words that truly move people.""

Ginny Figlar, Associate Creative Director and Copywriter, KEEN
