Jonathan Allen is a columnist at Roll Call and an adjunct professor at Northwestern University. Jon is the recipient of the Dirksen and Hume Awards and has written about national politics for more than a decade, including as a former Washington bureau chief for Bloomberg News and a former White House bureau chief for Politico. He is a frequent guest on national television and radio programs. Amie Parnes is the senior political correspondent for The Hill in Washington, DC, where she covered Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election and is now covering the rebuilding of the Democratic Party. She has written about politics for more than a decade, chronicling the Obama White House and the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections for Politico and The Hill, respectively.
