JERRY SPINELLI is the author of many novels for young readers, including Stargirl; Love, Stargirl; Milkweed; Hokey Pokey;aCrash; Wringer; and Maniac Magee, winner of the Newbery Medal; along withaKnots in My Yo-Yo String, the autobiography of his childhood.
