Reviews for The Time I Started Wearing Hijab: A Middle Grade Novel About Faith, Friendship, and Finding Your Voice-For Readers 8 and Up

I loved this story!!! It was really cute and super engaging for an adult read as well. The characters are relatable and I love the range of emotions Anum goes through as well. I loved all of it. It's a great storyline and so realistic. s.s. The Time I Started Wearing Hijab offers a moving journey of faith and bravery. The story sheds light on the complexities and beauty of embracing the hijab in today's world. A gen for any child discovering their own inner strength. It encourages empathy, understanding, and confidence in one's identity. Ibrahim K.
