Like The Anti-Inflammation Cookbook, this is a cookbook for (mostly) women of a certain age who are reading and talking about nutrition and other lifestyle changes in regard to health, beauty, and longevity. With 70 recipes book-ended by lifestyle primers (how to eat, holistic practices, hormones, and more) and lovely photography, this book combines utility and beauty into a book that is both resource and inspiration for this audience. The recipes are fresh and approachable, and each recipe delivers a number of health benefits. This is a self-purchase for women who are making changes in the way they eat and cook for their families, or a very nice 40th or 50th birthday gift from a friend to friend, or daughter to mother.

"""Amanda's gorgeous book is a delicious road map for feeling the best we can feel in the body we inhabit. I love her infectious positivity along with her willingness to cut herself some slack from time to time-an important reminder that we can be the best versions of ourselves at any moment in our lives if we just prioritize loving ourselves. Here she shares her journey and the inspirational notion that a delicious meal can set off a chain reaction of goodness. Her story is yet another example of the amazing healing power of food.""--Seamus Mullen, award-winning chef, restauranteur, and author of Real Food Heals ""Amanda's passion and insight are evident in her beautiful book, The Vibrant Life.
