Lucinda Riley was an actress, working in film, theatre and television, before she became a writer. At twenty-four, she wrote her first novel, then went on to write seven further novels that have been translated into fourteen languages. Her novel Hothouse Flower was published in 2010 and selected by the Richard and Judy Bookclub. It will be published in fifteen other counties. Lucinda's most recent novel, The Girl on the Cliff, published in 2011. She currently lives in Norfolk and France with her husband and four children.
