Lindy's Peregrinations #1 - A timely book for the socially-isolated pre-schooler (and their adults)! The astronaut's cat is an inside cat, and she likes it like that, because inside has air and lots to do, and outside doesn't. Though she does like to look out, and when she dreams she glides and bounces over the powdery surface of the moon or visits the blue ball rising in the sky where there is colour and movement everywhere. A lovely mix of archival moon photographs, collage, line drawings and antique watercolours and a nice mix of simple space facts with the quiet message of wonder and curiosity about the outside world, even if you have to stay inside for the present. Lindy Jones

The astronaut's cat is an inside cat. And she likes it like that.

The astronaut's cat is an inside cat - on the Moon! But she dreams about the strange outside world - and the mysterious blue ball that rises into the ink-black sky . . .

A wonderfully whimsical, funny and surprising story of a very unusual 'inside cat' - by one of Australia's finest picture-book creators. Perfect for readers who are intrigued or inspired by the landscapes of the Moon and the Earth - or fascinated by the inner life of cats.
