All the winning and commended images from the 1998 British Gas Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. Organized by BBC Wildlife Magazine and the Natural History Museum, London, the competition is the largest and most prestigious of its kind in the world. Photographers from 17 countries are represented, their subjects ranging from surfing bottle-nosed dolphins to caimans fishing in a most ingenious manner in Brazil.
