Onne van der Wal is an award-winning nautical photographer and the author of Sailing, also published by Rizzoli, whose photographs have graced the covers of every major sailing magazine in the United States and abroad. A seasoned yacht racer himself, he won the Whitbread Round the World Race, and still tours with teams both as sailor and photographer. He lives and operates a gallery for his artistic and commercial photography in Newport, R.I.
