Dr Matthew Parry is a non-practising solicitor-advocate (civil) and is presently a lecturer at the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law, Swansea University. He is co-chair of the England and Wales Client Interviewing Competition National Committee, the National Representative of Wales for the International Client Consultation Competition and he regularly coaches law school teams at negotiation competitions. Amanda Rees has an extensive background in Civil Litigation and Probate having worked in both city and regional firms. She led the Civil Litigation and Probate modules on the LPC course at Swansea University and the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Elective. She is an SRA external examiner. Dr Amy Sixsmith is an Associate Professor in Law and undergraduate LL.B. programme leader at the University of Sunderland. She has taught on undergraduate and postgraduate law courses for 12 years, and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She was one of the academic leads involved in transforming the University’s LL.B. programme to comply with the specification of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination, and has taught English Legal System to both law and non-law students. Dr David Sixsmith is an Assistant Professor at Northumbria University. He was previously a Senior Lecturer in Law and the programme leader for the Legal Practice Course and postgraduate SQE provision at the University of Sunderland. He is a non-practising solicitor and has previously been a partner at a high street firm. He is heavily involved with developing profession-facing legal education and teaches Dispute Resolution and Wills & Administration of Estates.
