Dr Graeme Davis is a university lecturer with a doctorate in philology - the area of study which includes surname origins - as well as a genealogist with extensive experience of family tree research. His academic work includes books about the Anglo-Saxon language and English dialect dictionaries, while his genealogical publications include Your Family Tree Online.
