This CD-ROM contains the complete papers presented at the conference Recontres Geosynthetiques, held in Bordeaux, France in October 1999. This conference, organized by the Geosynthetics committee and supported by IGS, is recognized as professional training and included in the training course of ENGEES (National School for Water and Environmental Engineering). The high technical quality of the programme of the conference goes together well with the established conviviality of the event.
