The all-time classic hit series of gender-swapping, species-bending, madcap martial arts mayhem!

One day, teenaged martial artist Ranma Saotome went on a training mission with his father and ended up taking a dive into some cursed springs at a legendary training ground in China. Now, every time he’s splashed with cold water, he changes into a girl. His father, Genma, changes into a panda! What’s a half-guy, half-girl to do? Find out what fueled the worldwide manga boom in beloved creator Rumiko Takahashi’s (InuYasha, Urusei Yatsura, RIN-NE) smash hit of martial arts mayhem, presented remastered and unflipped for the first time.

Pantyhose Taro’s back, and he’s got a thirst for vengeance that can only be quenched by dunking Happosai in water from Drowned Man Spring. But the water might actually result in more trouble than he anticipated—in fact, double the trouble. Then, a zesty trio in search of a particular treasure inspires Ryoga, Mousse and Ranma to form a truce. But is their temporary alliance a recipe for disaster?

Rumiko Takahashi's career began in 1978 when she won an honourable mention in Shogakukan's annual New Comic Artist Contest for Those Selfish Aliens. Later that same year, her boy-meets-alien comedy series, Urusei Yatsura, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. Takahashi won the prestigious Shogakukan Manga Award twice in her career, once for Urusei Yatsura in 1981 and the second time for Inuyasha in 2002. A majority of the Takahashi canon has been adapted into other media such as anime, live-action TV series, and film.
