Anatol Valerian Itten completed a PhD in Political Science at the University of Lucerne and is a Managing Director at the Disrupted Societies institute in Amsterdam. He worked at the German Ministry for the Environment for the UN climate conference and was a research fellow at the University of Amsterdam.
