Series: Pocket Lawyer
The Pocket Lawyer series is designed for members of the public who want 'how to' guidance in situations that would normally require expert advice. Each title: Is written by experts in their field Contains all the information you need in one book Has an accessible and user-friendly layout and structure Is supported by a companion website providing free updates and ready-to-use documants and letters If you are thinking of renting out a house or flat, this book will give you everything you need to become a successful landlord. It advises you about your legal responsibilities, about choosing and vetting a tenant and about the tenancy agreement itself. Whereas most tenancy agreements are written in impenetrable Lawspeak, the one in this book, with its accompanying Standard Letting Provisions, is written in plain English and is fair to both landlord and tenant.
