Laura Johnson's past holds great shame, but she's chosen to use it as a reminder of how Christ can bring beauty from ashes. Growing up in a Christian home and accepting Christ as a child didn't shield her from the hurts of life. Loving and faithful parents set the example, and spiritual mentors from her Christian high school encouraged her, helping her hold on to her faith despite the challenges. Knowing she wanted to impact the world for Jesus, Laura attended a Bible College in Wisconsin, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in history education with a minor in Biblical studies. There she faced the loss of her dear friend and met her first husband. Five hundred miles from her family, she started a new life, writing a story she wishes no one else ever has to live. Today, after overcoming the weight of her struggles with Christ's help, Laura has earned a Master's in Counseling to give her greater insight as she shares the healing and hope she received with others who feel like outcasts. She and her husband Mark enjoy life in Michigan with their seven children.Connect with Laura at IAmtheOtherWomanBook.com
