This major book is a landmark on the state of the art for treatments of the coxofemoral joint in adults. Every chapter presents the most recent advances in the field, making this book an immense update. Prof. Mohan Iyer has called on brilliant experts to write the chapters, which are as comprehensive as possible, illustrated with numerous figures, drawings and comparative tables and followed by an extensive list of book references. This book should be on the shelves of all surgeons dealing with the hip joint, be they junior or experienced practitioners, so that they will be able to compare their own practise with current gold standards.
