BRUCE H. YOUNG, L.C.S.W., is disaster services coordinator for the National Center for PTSD and editor of the NC-PTSD Clinical Quarterly. Mr. Young has been a disaster mental health consultant to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Public Health Service, Center for Mental Health Services, National Institute of Mental Health, Department of Defense, and state departments of mental health following numerous natural and human-made disasters. He has produced and directed several educational videos, including Children and Trauma, winner of the 1993 National Educational Film and Video Award. DUDLEY D. BLAKE, Ph.D., is codirector of the Evaluation and Brief Treatment PTSD Unit at the Boise Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Blake has coauthored over 30 chapters and articles. His clinical interests include PTSD assessment and treatment, cognitive therapy, and behavioral medicine.
