Sergey Edward Lyshevski received his MS and Ph.D in electrical engineering from Kiev Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine. He has held faculty and division head positions at Kiev Polytechnic Institute; The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kiev; Purdue University College of Engineering, Indiana, USA; and the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA. He serves as a full professor faculty fellow at the US Air Force Research Laboratories and Naval Warfare Centers, Newport, Rhode Island and Dahlgren, Virginia. He has authored sixteen books as well as 350 refereed journal articles, handbook chapters, and conference papers.
