The main objective of the topic to be developed is to analyze the regional models of alternatives for the enforcement of sentences under the perspective of comparative law for its application in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which will allow us to contrast these alternative formulas with the legislations of two (02) Latin American countries, in order to show the results of the necessary application of the principles of the new constitutional penitentiary system, the institutional discourse and the penitentiary practice, in order to carry out possible legislative reforms to improve the current national legislation, solve the controversy of penitentiary overcrowding through the harmonization of the law by applying the procedure of the use of comparative law in order to integrate it as an academic discipline and as a tool to expand and solve legal aspects where its current consequences are negative in the country.
