Zonta Meet The Authors Evening

Posted November 17, 2011

Zonta 2011 Meet the Authors

"If you are having difficulty deciding what Christmas gifts to buy we have
the perfect suggestion … personally autographed books by some of
Australia’s best authors," said Susan Copeland, President of the Zonta
Club of Sydney.

"The Meet the Authors Evening at Abbey’s Bookshop on Wednesday
30 November is an opportunity to chat informally with Lenny Bartulin, Gary Corby,
John M Green, Nicholas Hasluck, Stuart Littlemore, Andrew Tink and
Michael Wilding about their books, and to purchase an autographed
copy," Ms Copeland said.

"We are pleased to be able to support the Zonta Club of Sydney and at
the same time showcase Australian authors," said Eve Abbey, owner of
Abbey’s Bookshop.

"For an entry fee of only $5 you can also browse our large collection,
there are over 100,000 books on display, and enjoy some light
refreshments, the evening has something for everyone," said Ms Abbey.
Ms Copeland expressed the gratitude of the club for the ongoing
support of Abbey’s Bookshop... money raised on the evening, from the
entry fee and 10% of sales, goes to support service projects undertaken
by the Zonta Club of Sydney.
