Laura Weston lives by a Marine Lake, where Oyster Catchers dabble, and boats bob. She loves the sea but she really loves drawing & painting - absolutely anything with wings, petals, leaves, feathers or fur! The Butterfly Garden about brilliant Monarchs and their incredible journey is her first ever picture book project. Laura hand carves & prints each picture. Printmaking designs always starts out with a rough drawing. Her inspiring places to draw are: in her beach tent in St Ives, Cornwall or at her Kitchen table on the Wirral. When she's not making art she likes to teach others all about it.
