Jessica Courtney-Tickle is a freelance illustrator currently based in rural Cambridgeshire. She graduated from Kingston University in July 2014 where she found a specialism in picture book illustration. Her work combines vibrant colours with lots of detail and many different, quirky characters. Her love of nature and greenery can be seen in her illustrations of foliage which accompany much of her work. Pat began working in children's publishing more years ago than she cares to remember and is now Editorial Director at Caterpillar Books. As an editor she has worked on titles ranging from atlases to animal pop-ups, craft kits to crazy mazes and sticker books to secret diaries.
